Healthcare inductions are vital as they ensure that healthcare professionals are well-prepared to provide quality care, prioritize patient safety, and stay updated on the latest medical practices and protocols.

At Safe Sure Care we provide a comprehensive induction program.
A 4-Day Induction.
We run a 4 day intensive course covering mandatory training using the care certificate program. Furthermore we incorporate a FULL Emergency First Aid at Work as well as a Level 2 Moving and Assisting People certificates. In addition we perform practical hands on learning through scenario's, which provides opportunity for participants to practice what they have learn't .

First Aid - Part 1
The First Aid course combines with the CPR/BLS to provide an accredited Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.
This first aid course is accredited through Protrainings uk.
Day 3
CPR /BLS For Healthcare Professionals.
Basic Life Support skills and includes skills for Adult, Child and Infant and most importantly healthcare variations.
For New Care Staff this will form part 2 of the Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.
Moving and Assisting People
This is part 1 of the Moving and Assisting Course and is combined with practicals on day 4 to provide a full 6 hrs training to gain level 2 accredited certificate. It covers:
The reasons for safe moving and handling
The importance of risk assessment
The principles of safe manual handling
The safe application of manual handling skills
Learners will also develop the specialist knowledge and skills related to moving people safely.
This part can also provide a REFRESHER for existing staff who have undertaken previous training in the last 3 years.
Moving and Assisting People Assessments:
This course includes a variety of practical assessments including use of :
Transfer boards -Bed to chair and chair to chair transfers
Slide sheets-Moving patients in bed.
Turntables-Standing transfers or chair to chair transfers
Hoists-Bed to chair /commode or wheelchair transfers and lifting patients off the floor.
Rotary Stands- Standing trsnsfers.
Zimmer Frames- Assisted walking techniques
Walking stick (optional)
Transfer belts -Assisted Transfers and walking with patients.

Mandatory Training/Part 2 of the Care Certificate.

Mandatory Refresher Option
This day can be taken as part of the Care Certificate for New Staff or can be a refresher for existing staff. This in conjunction with the BLS refresher and Moving and Assisting refresher covers all the subjects required to meet healthcare yearly mandatory training reqirements.
Prevent Radicalisation Awareness Training
The Prevent strategy, published by the Government is part of the overall counter-terrorism strategy.
This course starts with an overview of the Government’s Prevent strategy, and then looks at some of the reasons people become extremists. It goes on to cover the objectives of the Prevent strategy, how to base your actions on a risk-based approach, what to do if you are concerned and much more.

Basic Life Support and AED for Healthcare Professionals Level 2 (VTQ)
Some professionals need a more extensive CPR / BLS /AED course. This half day course covers Basic Life Support skills and includes skills for Adult, Child and Infant and most importantly healthcare variations especially on the infant CPR. This is ideal for nurses, care workers or medical professionals needing annual updates to complete professional membership.
Healthcare professional are required to up date their competency in BLS/CPR each year and this course will enable them to do this.

Emergency First Aid at Work
With more care being provided in a clients own home carers need to be able to both adminster basic First Aid or provide life saving CPR or other life saving procedures.
Our Emeregency First Aid at Work course will enable staff to gain these skills as well as provide plenty of opportunity to practice thereby enabling them to become compitent hence confident First Aiders.

Moving and Assisting People Level 2
Our Moving and Assisting People Training for Healthcare Staff is a comprehensive program designed to equip healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide safe and effective care for patients with diverse mobility needs. Additionally, our training program equips healthcare staff with the tools they need to excel in patient care. This, in turn, helps reduce the risk of injury and enhances the overall quality of care provided. Furthermore, it is ideal for all workplace requirements, as it includes safer moving and positioning of people as well as manual handling of objects. Moreover, it is designed to meet the requirements and recommendations of the HSE Manual Handling Regulations 1992
Staff gaining this qualification will learn that any moving and handling must be carried out correctly and recognise the importance of this in ensuring a safer working environment. In addition those "New to Care" will undertake additional practical assessments in care scenario's thereby ensuring they are safe to start working with clients.
This can be taken as a half day refresher by those with previous training or as a full day for new staff.
