OSCE Exam  Preparation  Training

OSCE Exam Preparation Training

Are you a NURSE or an Organisation looking for success in the NMC/OSCE exam

On average, currently only 55% of candidates sitting their OSCE exam for NMC registration pass the first time, meaning most candidates take two or even three attempts before they achieve success.

Our 5-day training program, developed by a previous OSCE examiner and experienced trainer, aims to improve this success rate. Consequently, we anticipate securing a first-time pass for our attendees.  We have a SURE way to help you SUCEED

Our Next Course Date

April 22nd-26th
in Morden, South London

About The OSCE

Through this exam the clinical skills and competencies of nursing professionals is assessed. In particular it will replicate a clinical environment and "patient" scenarios that these nurses are likely to encounter during their assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. Moreover, candidates are expected to utilize a contemporary evidence base and effectively demonstrate the safe practical application of nursing and midwifery skills.

The exam consists of :

APIE: Candidates will be presented with a nursing scenario through which they will need to demonstrate their ability to successfully Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate the care required by this patient thereby demonstrating their nursing skills.

Skills Stations: Each candidate is expected to demonstrate their skills through 4 skills chosen from a selection of 21
nursing skills.

Evidence Based Practice: This involves a written paper, whereby candidates are introduced to a specific aspect of nursing care. The main concept being that candidates are required to provide evidence to substantiate the implementation of best practices.Thereby demonstrating their practice is remaining up to date and consequently they are able to maintain the highest standards of care.

Professional Behaviour: This written paper presents candidates with a professional dilemma, with the consequences of their action they respond with needing to demonstrate their integrity to uphold their professional values hence the code of conduct which nurse must work to.

Our courses will provide participants ample opportunity to practice all the stations so whether you are an INDIVIDUAL NURSE or AN ORGANISATION  Safe Sure Care provide a program for success in the OSCE/ NMC exam.

About Our OSCE Training

By offering a comprehensive 10-station OSCE training for Adult Health Nursing, spanning over 5 days, our training program not only provides ample opportunities to practice skills most importantly it offers extensive feedback from the trainers.

After absorbing all the information we then conduct a mock NMC exam. With the collective expertise of our experienced team, notably featuring a PREVIOUS EXAMINER and a CLINICAL MATRON, we are able to adeptly guide the participants towards and consequently enabling them to achieve success in their endeavour to pass the OSCE on the first attempt.

Key Features:
Practice Opportunities:The program, importantly structured around small groups benefits participants by providing abundant opportunities to practice practical skills. As a result, having a greater number of trainers allows us to cover a higher number of skill stations. Consequently this leads to greater success for our participants.

Feedback: Crucially participants will receive constructive feedback from trainers, that will not only consequently and importantly help improve their performance but also subsequently their success.

Mock Exam: Significantly, the program culminates with a mock NMC exam. Participants not only take their own test but also observe others undergoing exams, providing valuable experience and feedback.
Observing multiple exams effectively simulates the exam environment, boosting participants' familiarity with format and content, thereby helping with the success.

We are so confident of the success of our courses we will give a FREE place to attend any section a participant needs to resit.
