Course Terms and Conditions:
Safe Sure Care has 2 different sets of terms and conditions which apply to the different services and products we supply.
• Individual Bookings & Public/Open Courses
• Group Bookings & On-site Training
Individual Bookings & Public/Open Courses Terms & Conditions
A booking on a Public Course can be for and by an individual participant or can be booked by an organisation for a member of their team.
Individual Bookings:
A booking by an individual is a booking for the named individual and is not transferable unless agreed with Safe Sure Care Ltd.
Organisational Bookings:
A booking is for a “place” booked and not a place booked for a specific delegate. We keep this flexibility for you, the customer, in case you need to send an alternative delegate to the course at the last minute. (Please note this does not apply to accredited courses, especially those courses that are blended see separate section below for separate terms and conditions).
Certificates:
Attendance is retrieved from the Attendee Sheets completed at the beginning of the course allowing Safe-Sure Care to issue certificates. Certificates are generated and issued using the Attendee Register from the beginning of the course. These certificates are emailed to the Client who made the booking (unless advised differently) within 14 days having attended the course. Please ensure that delegates attending the training course complete the attendee sheet clearly as any certificate amendments may incur a charge. Should you choose for your certificates to be printed and posted by Safe-Sure Care, this can be arranged for £2.50 per certificate.
Payment:
All prices quoted on the website are full costs, the company presently is not registered for VAT, so this is the full price. Payment for public/open courses must be made in full, at the point of booking to our Finance Department. An Invoice will be issued via email with payment details. No course information will be provided until payment has been received. If payment is not received within 7 days following your booking, your place(s) will be released.
Payment Options:
An Invoice will be issued upon confirmation of each booking and payment will need to be via BACS transfer. – Bank details can be found on the Invoice (please quote the Invoice number as a reference)
Cancellations:
We would like to offer the “cooling-off period” as is your right as a consumer, therefore should you need to use this “cooling-off period” to cancel your booking, please put this into writing within 14 days of the date of booking to: info@safesurecare.co.uk
All cancellations must be acknowledged in writing by Safe-Sure Care Ltd. Please note that if you do not cancel in writing and/or do not attend, fees already paid will not be refunded or transferable and any outstanding invoices will still be due.
For Safe-Sure Care Ltd to continue offering high-quality training at a low-cost fee, any cancellations made outside the 14-day cooling-off period will incur a charge of 50% of the order value, If a cancellation or amendment is made within 14 days before the course date (irrespective of when the course was booked), a charge of 100% order value will be made payable to Safe Sure Care Ltd.
.
Transfers:
All requests for transfers made within 14 days of your booking will be transferred at no cost, however, any transfer requests made after the 14-day cooling-off period, but up to 14 days before the course date will incur a £10 administrative fee, per delegate.
Any requests for transfers made within and after the 14 days approaching the course date cannot be made and the full charge of the original booking will be incurred. Please contact info@safesurecare.co.uk to discuss available options at this point.
Rescheduling:
If Safe-Sure Care needs to reschedule an Open training course, at least 7 days' notice will be given. A new date will be provided, and delegates will be transferred to the new date at no further cost. If the new date offered is not suitable, then the place/s may be transferred to an alternative course within the same public course location at no cost.
Safe-Sure Care reserve the right to at any time to change the date of an Open Course or to cancel it altogether if they deem it necessary for any reason or cause beyond the control of Safe Sure Care, such as adverse weather conditions, tutor illness, road traffic accidents etc. An alternative date will be provided at the earliest opportunity at no further cost.
It is the responsibility of the delegates attending the Open Courses to ensure adequate travel time to the venue is considered in case of traffic delays, accidents, adverse weather conditions, etc. Delegates who arrive late to a public course may be informed by the Tutor that they cannot attend the remainder of the session as they have missed vital information from the beginning of the session. In this instance, the place secured is still payable in full as per the Invoice and payment terms. In the case of the accredited course late entry in not allowed by the authorising body as there is a stipulation that the candidate is required to have a stated number of contact hours for certification, so no lateness can be accepted. They will be informed they are not able to attend and payment will be due as stated above following these terms and conditions.
Training venues for Open Courses will be within an 15-mile radius of the town or city of that advertised. Safe-Sure Care has the right to change the venue due to the demand of our courses to ensure the venue meets our needs, this may, from time to time, be further and customers will be notified accordingly, however, this does not forfeit your contractual obligations to Safe-Sure Care Ltd.
In House/Onsite Course Bookings:
All Onsite bookings are confirmed at the point of booking and a member of staff will confirm the course subject and price with the Client and secure that Onsite session. The Client will receive confirmation that the course has been secured, and the company will then source dates. Please ensure that delegates attending the training course completes the Attendee Sheet clearly as any certificate amendments may incur a charge. Should you choose for your certificates to be printed and posted, this can be arranged for £2.50 per certificate,
Clients are to ensure that the venue details are supplied to Safe-Sure Care Ltd within 10 days of a date agreement and provide details of any special requirements for the scheduled course in the same timescale.

Additional Terms and Conditions for Accredited Courses:
A booking on an accredited open course, as in First Aid is a place for a specific person, this is a requirement by the authorising body. It is to ensure all diversity and equity regulations regarding any reasonable adjustments (for learning or physical disabilities) are adhered to. It is a requirement that any reasonable adjustments required are authorised by the accrediting body and notice is required before the course to apply for this. Due to these facts, an alternative delegate cannot be sent on the course unless agreed by Safe-Sure Care before the commencement of the course. If an alternative candidate arrives on the day of the course without prior arrangement the company reserves the right to refuse entry onto the course. Any payments made in these conditions are non-refundable as this is deemed a breach of the contract.
Fitness To Attend Training.
Accredited Training Courses consist of practical elements within each course which require assessment (depending on the type of course conducted), which includes Recovery Position, CPR Training, Manual Handling, Bleeding Assessments, and Physical Intervention skills. It is your responsibility (the person attending training) to make the course instructor aware of:

Any medication being taken.
If you are pregnant.
Any medical problems that may prevent you from completing any sections of the training.
Any Accident or Incident during any course MUST be reported to the course instructor on the day of training and an entry MUST be filed within the accident book.
We, or any of our instructors will not be held responsible for any injury suffered by any person attending any of our courses.
Photo Identification:

Safe Sure Care Ltd will not be held responsible for any participant who does not produce identification at the start of any course. In this instance all course fees payable for training will be lost, their responsibility to produce identification before course start time.
Remaining T&C’s:
Courses booked cannot be re-sold or offered to any other organisation without the knowledge or consent of Safe-Sure Care Ltd. This may result in the course being cancelled/place/s being removed from the course or if a discounted rate is given, the full price will be charged for the course.
From time to time, Safe-Sure Care Ltd may introduce a discount on particular courses. These discounts may be introduced for several reasons, however, any places booked before the release of this discount will still be charged at the previously advertised and invoiced rate. If you wish to take advantage of the newly discounted rate, you may book an additional place(s) at the discounted rate by quoting the discount advertised at the point of booking.
Failure to adhere to these terms and conditions may result in any discount given being removed.
